It is a great honor and privilege for me to deliver the second Annual Memorial Parliamentary Lecture in honor of the formidable academician and parliamentarian, Professor Hirendranath Mukerjee. I am very proud to pay my respects to an individual whose commitment to social justice spanned over 60 years, until his death in 2004.

The very first Global Grameen Meeting |
Registration for this event is now closed.
For the week of 4-11 November 2009, Professor Muhammad Yunus will be visiting Germany, for a week full of memorable meetings, official events, and the very first Global Grameen Meeting ever. His visit will begin in Wiesbaden, at the offices of the Grameen Creative Lab, and will continue with events in Wiesbaden, Berlin, Wolfsburg, Hamburg and Passau.
During his visit, he will not only meet with CEOs of leading corporations in Germany and worldwide, but will also have a podium discussion with 100 students from some of Germany's leading universities; a breakfast with Wiesbaden's successful businesswomen; a Gala dinner with other Nobel Peace Laureates; as well as participating in the televised 20th anniversary celebration of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Article 1 ESTABLISHMENT
1. The Yunus Center at AIT (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”) is hereby established as an institute-level center within the Asian Institute of Technology.
2. The Center may establish additional satellite centers outside the main AIT campus as appropriate for the implementation of its objectives and activities.
